Ruff?

I had a pleasant trip to the Elmley marshes. Being an old softie all my shots were taken from the comfort of my car.
Mr Google thinks that today's shots are of a Ruff. I hope that one of our knowledgeable members can confirm or correct this ID.

A fine set of pictures Ivor; I particularly like the lead image. The 'RSPB Pocket Birds' seems to provide a clear confirmation that this is a Ruff. (Had to check as my ID skills are hopeless!!). As for staying in the car this does not constitute being a 'softie'; you were using your vehicle as a mobile hide! (Works for me! SmileSmileSmile)
