Rugby Pole

By Sone
This was taken for my Photo Club (F-Stop Photographic Society, also joined with the PSSA), where the month's theme was "Poles". Interesting enough my mind was full of ideas. I enjoyed doing this, and it was taken at my High School where I had finished last year. At the club I got a Silver award for this photo. I am starting at the club as a 1 star member. This photo was taken with a polarizing filter where as te blue sky was not as blue as it seemed through the eye. Filters are my friend Wink .

You have diagonal lines rising from both the bottom corners, that's the strength of the image. Abstracts work on simplicity, this works.

I've managed to upload a Mod at second attempt - please disregard the first!

Basic but the bottom left corner lacks continuity. You needed the joint of the poles in. The polariser has done a good job.

Polarizer against that sky is very effective, as are the goal colours.

Upload a mod with a twist, that takes that lack of continuity bottom left, and makes it a feature.
