Run down

By Arvorphoto
The end is nigh, it's the 1950's and a grubby 822 The Earl approaches Cyfronydd with a short freight for Llanfair Caerinion.
A recreation of those last days heading towards 1956 and closure. The rural nature of the line being its downfall in the end, with the traffic levels making it unsustainable

As always, many thanks to those who have taken the time to look, vote and comment on on my recent uploads.
And a very big thank you to those who have given UA's on my work
Very very much appreciated

I've been there. It is an astonishingly beautiful little line through gorgeous countryside in late spring.

The train has been captured in the optimum spot. A lovely line which now survives through tourism.

Only just stumbled across this one but I think it's a joy! Gorgeous colours, patterns and composition.
