Runner in the Sky...

By Scottishlandscapes
...it's often said that I like a big sky well here's one for you, taken last week in one wonderful day of sunshine down in Ayrshire, the southern tip of Arran is at the bottom here. Cirrus clouds produce wonderful wispy shapes and I saw a runner here, thoughts of the Olympics maybe.
Camera was pointing almost straight up into the sky.

Could do with a sky like that today Dougie. Can see your runner, but the main thing I see is in the top right hand part of the sky. A profile of an old man with a big nose and white beard. There, You have got us looking for things in the clouds WinkGrin. Moira

Nice one Dougie,my kind of shot as you know.I'd suggest being a bit braver and losing even more of the featureless sea, leaving just a sliver

I see a Haka performing rugby player myself, but there's definately a shape in those clouds. INteresting take Dougie, you've got something out of a situation I wouldn't normally see anything in.

what a fantastic sky - and yes - there's the runner.....
I haven't seen such a sky for ages - either it is dark grey - uni, no real visible clouds, or it is scorchingly blue - and again no clouds. Today we woke up to 12C, for tomorrow the meteorologists forcast 30C. Crazy!
Brother back at home at long last, not doing really well. We're away to the north, to catch our new car, and I hope that when we're back at the end of next week I'll be able to post again.
Take care my dear,
Johanna
