The past few years we have been going for holidays to all kind of countries. And both hubbie and I are now convinced that the Scots are the worst when it comes to roadsigns...
We never got lost so often then we do when being in Scotland. I have to admit - it is the greatest country to get lost anyway, but it is not always what one wants!
Well, this time we got lost was a good experience! Following the direction to Glasgow before going up north to Glencoe, we took by accident the A809, yes.... going directly to Glasgow.
In the middle of nowhere we saw these horses running around, jumping and hugging each other. What an excellent opportunity - so we rushed out of the car and try to capture them.
The cold winds were blowing awfully hard up there (no wonder no one is living there) and I had to set the iso to 800 because I was trembling of the cold!
Too bad that the horses went more quiet when we stood there with the cameras ready.
My telelens is a secondhand lens which was originnally made for filmcameras - which makes it a bit slow when it comes to action photography.
Anyway - this is one of the shots. A great memory and a great reminder of the Scottish cold winds...
Comments and critiques are welcome as usual!
