Rural Idyll

By Arvorphoto
A change of scenery today and a trip to the rolling countryside of the Banwy valley and back to the late 1920's before the passenger service was withdrawn and the morning service from Welshpool approaches Cyfronydd.
823 Countess with two replica Pickering coaches and a handful of wagons and brake van.

Processing: Lightroom/Photoshop

A lovely scene, portraying how most of us would like to imagine Britain.

Looks like a good image for a jigsaw puzzle, ‘Old England or Welsh? landscape and steam train’. Very beautiful to see.

The trains in rural New York--USA where I grew up were never this charming----massive and frightening engines followed by miles of freight cars----- but, as children, we still ran to the hill to wave to the engineer and the caboose people-----

Your image is delightful!
