Rural Rajasthan: children playing

By dgould
Cycling through this scenery one becomes a part of the landscape, and these kids adopted me for a few minutes. I liked the backdrop of their village in the distance (24mm equivalent lens).

Just for a moment they got organised into this pose, and I just loved the cheeky lad in the middle hiding the little kid's face... Micro four thirds is a great format for travelling, with such light lenses.

I love the contrast between the energy exuding from these happy children and the slightly oof and faded village in the background.

Travel photography at its best!
