Rusty Anchor 2

By pamelajean
Down along the Hayling Island promenade, the private gardens are decorated with numerous items that have been washed up or found on the sea shore, and this was one that caught my eye some time back.

I uploaded a version of this in 2011 and I therefore fear this anchor will by now have completely disintregrated.

Grateful thanks to those of you who were interested enough in my previous rust offering to leave your kind votes and comments.

Pamela.

Now that is a rusty anchor which shows year's of decay but makes a pleasing picture. The colourful flowers act as a perfect foil to the rust.

Beautiful rust, Pamela - does look rather like it could easily disintegrate! 😬 A super capture, though, set against the rock and daisies background 👍

Don't know if the rustmeister MickBee is still on here, but he would have loved this.

The salt has certainly taken it's toll on the poor old anchor, how much longer can it hold?
