Rusty Railings

By pamelajean
I can't help imagining this post as having its arms on its hips, looking aggressively to its right and shouting at passers-by. That's called anthropomorphism and, yes, I am a serial anthropomorphist, i.e. one who anthropomorphizesSmile. And I'm not alone!

These painted iron railings and flint walls were found on a Victorian building in Castle Avenue, Winchester, on the site of the former Winchester Castle. Little remains of the castle now. The Victorian buildings are various administration buildings of Hampshire County Council.

2 images, the version is a larger view, a bit further along the road, and without flash.

Before I read your write-up, I saw immediately on viewing this a figure with hands on hips and elbows stuck out! And posing for you too! GrinGrin A well seen image, Pamela, and I rather go for the version as my fave Smile
