What a joy to be in the outdoors Rod !! I like the red 'mattress ' - it brings back great memories of spending nights in the Drakensberg mountains !! A really enjoyable image !!GrinGrin

Weather was fine all week Alan , it's the East/West thing going on . Cairngorms are much drier than hills in the West Smile

what a pleasure blue skies in Scotland Rod and those clouds set it off so well with the wee path/roadway rambling through the scene and the rucksack giving some f/g interest well composed if you had a week of that weather it would have been excellent Rod think I might tone map thiss to see what it does to the clouds

hi rod, i've only ever left my bag in f/ground by mistake. you've used yours so well to give lead and make a great landscape into great photo journo to. well done. how many pictures to the mile does the D7000 do? well done, thanks for the memories of your great country. si

Cheers bud Grin My D7000 does alot of miles lol it says in the manual i get 1000 shots per charge , don't think i get that but the life is pretty good my man GrinGrin

The sky is brilliant, the ISO set at a 1000,quality for such a high setting.

Go out and get a new rucksack, Rod.................That one looks like a baby camels chewing rag...........great shot. lovely PoV. sky as wide as the welcome in the highlands......where is the image taken.......beautiful..............Phil

Really like this Roddy. a well used and battered auld sack that could tell a few stories. and what a sky,love it.
