I'd be itching to use Nik's detail extractor filter on this. Subtly, but definitely!

Is there a tiny bit of a tilt down to the right?

I don't think there is a tilt, it's an optical illusion created by the line of tree and horizon on the right hand side.
May one day invest in the Nik Collection but still to be convinced it's worth it

I'm looking at the total fall in horizon level from edge to edge: and I agree that the trees have a slope to them that is slightly mind-bending!

Nik is costly if you don't use a fair selection of the filters in it: I've found around half a dozen that are so helpful for what I do that I have no doubts about the value to me. But for different styles, different work, it may not be such good value.
