Sad Story

By kgb224
This picture has a very sad tail to it.My 2 daughters were waiting for my wife to come from work. While they were waiting for my wife a vehicle connected a dog walking over the road.My kids took the injured dog to our flat. They made it as comfortable as possible and gave it food and water. The next morning i contacted our local SPCA.They came in the afternoon on the same day to fetch the injured dog.I must still phone to find out if they put the dog out as it couldn't walk after the vehicle connected it.

your child did a great job. you have captured it well. the eye of the dog indicates the pain. but i think there is an unnatural color cast in the image you could have adjusted it before uploading. the placement of the eye is at the middle of the frame but it often works well if you avoid such kind of placement. i have uploaded a modification here. i have cropped the distracting part of the foreground and adjusted the color balance. i have also given an effect if you like and want to know you can leave message or PM me. i shall post the knowhow.

I like what you have done with the picture. The odd color could be because of the reason that i took the picture inside my Flat.
