Safe Landing

I like watching the ducks they can give such good practise with my camera when there is nothing else about.

Hi Ruby,

I like this a lot. You've done well to catch him in the last stages of landing.
I've uploaded a mod. in which I've cropped it since there's not a lot to see to either side of the bird.
I've used an "S" curve to give a little more contrast and finally, I sharpened it a bit using the high pass filter.
Hope it's OK.
All done using CS5.

Edit; I aded a tiny catchlight to his eye as well, although it's got a bit lost amongst the water drops.

This one is such a great shot, the wings are caught just right, don't think I could get this sort of thing on the E620, just needs a few sharpening tweaks and a little BG blur, as in my mod.
I feel that this is one of your best shots so far. Chen.

Maybe I am trying to hard then Chen. I took this last year in the winter. When there are no swans around and I get bored I start on the ducks!
