Sailing East (Series)

By Owdman
My wife and I love to cruise, so I find myself most evenings on deck with my camera (often on my own) as the sun sets. I have lots of sunset photographs on my hard disk, which I can't bear to delete.
This one was from the stern of the Queen Mary 2 mid-Atlantic. The others from the stern of the Queen Victoria, also in the Atlantic. It's always easier taking pictures sailing east on the transatlantics as you have an unobstructed view from the stern and you're generally protected from the wind.
