Sailing on the Chesapeake #6

By handlerstudio
A boathouse across the river from our anchorage. And the version is of the estate that the boathouse is connected to. There is also a fair amount of farmland along the Corsica River, one of my favorite destinations on the Bay. The other, lower down, below Kent Island, is the Wye River (for anyone who knows the Eastern Shore).

This is the last of my short series of this trip. On to the next subject......probably another series.

So that’s where the saying” landed Gentry comes from .” is where the gentry land their boats ! Their land looks amazing , with just a peek at the house .You must see some amazing properties while sailing by Peter.

Interesting-- and we should have explored this part of the Eastern shore! Two fine images!

We got maybe 4--maybe 6 inches of fluffy snow and then the crusty rain--all day today! Time for some melting days!

Thanks so much for your award for the Prickly image! Wonderful to receive it!
