Saint Corentin of Quimper Cathedral

By canoncarol
Many thanks to Bill (BillRookery) for his award yesterday and to everyone who voted / commented on my Brotherswater images.

We stayed in Quimper, NW France for a couple of nights, such a beautiful town with so much history. The river Odet runs through the centre and the many bridges are adorned with baskets of flowers in the summer. The Gothic style Cathedral of Saint Corentin has twin spires and the narrow cobbled streets are lined with half timbered houses ( in the older part of the town). We decided to follow the river out of the town and we found a beautiful old theatre. These images just give a taste of the beautiful location, it was a rather dull damp day, some sun would have been nice to bring out the best in the images!
