Saint Evroult Notre Dame du Bois

By born2bongo
Taken on the first evenng of our holiday, when the sun had finally put in an appearance.

Would have liked to stay and find out more about the ruins but, despite the sun, it was still too far north to be warm enough on this 'non' summer!

It's only a stone's throw from Le Havre and there's always next year!

A very fine shot and good detail in the stonework.

Like the angle you captured this at and the detail is lovely.

Thanks for the comments.

I did think about B&W but thought it a bit clichéd (horror movies, and all that). I loved the colour of the stone and the 'weed-killered' grass at the base.
