Saint James's Lake

By Fefe
Hello everyone!
Another in the series "A Tale of Two Cities" from London Today.
I loved this view from somewhere near Buckinham Palace.... looking down St. James's Park Lake. I would have liked a slightly better pov (the trees are masking the view somewhatTongueTongue) but short of knocking out six or seven people all taking shots of each other with numerous mobile phones and Ipads.....or waiting for them to they had the best vantage pointSad
I settled for this shotWinkTongue
Hope you like itSmile

A great big thankyou to all for votes and comments on my last upload "Saint Giles" and another special Thankyou to Jukka for the UAGrinGrinGrin

How very un-London... I like this a lot, and don't worry about the veil of twigs, they add gentleness and distance. You found a private, personal view. That's important.

I like this view, Diane, most people stand on that bridge you can see and shoot towards Horseguards.

I find it so annoying when others with their iPhones, etc., get in the way of us 'proper' photographers...and they take ages too about it Sad
However, it's a fine capture here, Diane, and makes you feel you want to wander through there and investigate further Smile
