this is an informative image Khan.. love the pov (for which the credit goes to you.. ) which tells the story in a stronger way.. and to some degree also depicts the condition of such workers and the environment they work in.. salt is not a good substance to expose your skin for a long time..
That's a great point of view, dramatic.
Willie's mod makes the image come alive as it's warmer but more importantly improves the detail in the shadows so that we can see the salt worker. A small positive exposure compensation at the time of capture would have been useful as you're shooting into the light and the bright sky has influenced the exposure. Possibly +2/3 would have been ok.
You could have increased the drama by dipping the camera slightly so the guy's head is closer to the top of the frame. That amount of sky isn't really needed. however, a crop will sort it. Mod to follow.

Until you mentioned the boat being filled, in your description, I wouldn't have known. I therefore think that if you could have included some more of the boat, and perhaps some water, the image would be easier to understand.
However, because of your excellent point of view, and having the workers set against the sky, I still like the image and the action very much.

Composition and interest high, but the quality has let you down. Not your usual standard. The contrast has lost a lot of detail in the shadows and you have tried to brighten the main figures face. I suspect a little under exposure and you are on spot metering and manual.
Great providing you metered from the correct tones and/or compensated. The salt may be a bit yellow hen unprocessed, but I suspect it should be brighter.
