Can't choose between 1 & 2 - both terrific. Am I alowed to ask how you do the skin tones here?

Of course you can ask Rob! I've tried a few different techniques including using gaussian blur on selected areas - on here though I was struggling with a couple of blemishes and I wasnt happy with the healing brush alone. So I used the paint brush (a soft edged one) with the flow set to about 10 - 15% and I selected the colour from the area that I brushed over. I dont usually like this method though as it gets rid of the natural textures too so you can spoil a pic if you do it too much. Hope that helps!

Ps if anyone knows any other tips I can learn please let me know on here or pm me. Thanks x

I think you've done a fantastic job here. I've tried both the Gaussian blur and the Median blur on adjustment layers but neither look as good as this.

Select an area of colour a bit darker than your blemmish, create a new layer and change the blending mode and change it to darken and then paint over the blemish with a low opasity (if I remember correctly)
another brilliant portrait shot.... keep up the good work. Fenner
