Sambro, NS

By JimV
Now we come to the end of the road as far as I was concerned, it's the fishing village of Sambro, and here's a few shots I got there. The fishing boat leaving the harbour in V4 & 5 is registered in Charlottetown, PEI, so if he was heading for home he had a long sail ahead of him.

Many thanks for your votes and comments on 'Ketch Harbour', much appreciated. I offer my apologies for forgetting to giver you the map position, but you can see where Ketch Harbour is in this one, if you so wish, I know I always like to when it is given.

Such a lovely area Jim. Nice use of the lobster traps and trees to frame the view towards Sambro. Whenever I see images related to fishing it brings back memories of my childhood and fishing with my grandfather. He had a small fishing vessel that he often took me out in when I was a wee one Smile

I notice the ocean in your shots looks clear and clean. A beautiful area in every way.

Wonderful compositions, Jim, looks a beautiful place to visit. Well captured, particularly like the natural framework of the trees in V.1. Carol

I'm glad to see they still use wooden traps there. The newfangled metal ones aren't nearly as photogenic.

Lovely set of shots Jim. I love V3 - like the clarity of that water in the foreground.
I think you should treat Mary to underfloor heating for the deck TongueGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin.
