Same again!

By Ericsamson
You've got the hang of this by now. It's Friday, its five to five and it's Crackerjack! ....... Ah, no, its Film Friday, it's just after four thirty and it's yet another picture of Clumber Park ... the Chapel ... across the lake ... with a swan ... and some trees ... and some "Hello clouds! Hello sky!" for the eternally skipping Fotherington Thomas as he bounds through the undergrowth in a surfeit of pre-lockdown joy. He are a fule as anyone know. He eat too many prunes and has yet to discover that the toilet block is closed. That is why he skip so innocently not knowing that the white thing in the lake is not a Swan but a cunningly disguised toilet roll what I throwed in. Ha ha! Molesworth's cunning genius wins again!

Matron has just brewed up a huge vat of 80% proof rose hip vodka. She claims that it's alcoholic strength should be enough to give any virus a banging headache and see it running for the hills. Wot next I ask myself? Injecting disinfectant and what not I shouldn't wonder. Who would be that mad? Ha ha ha ha ....... 🤣 ....... wot? ......... seriously?!?! Cripes ...............🤢 Better off with the prunes then ... notwithstanding ....... 💨 🚽 😰

Many thanks for the very kind responses to the last upload - I forget the title - the Boaty McBoatface one! Last one to the jetty has to finish the rose hip vodka! 🥳
With best wishes to all for what I think is the forthcoming weekend; I'm quietly confident about that as the bins have been emptied today. I really like bin days. I think it's the sense of certainty and purpose.
I remain yours, subject to competing demands, Arbuthnot Follicle. 🥴

The daily dose of insanity. I'll go with intravenous rosehip vodka rather than Dettol, any day.

Another good image from this location. The 80% proof rose hip vodka must be working a treat, giving you fresh energy. Is it likely to come on the market as it would be a good cure for Self-Isolation-Blues?? Put me down for a case. No, make it two!! My Tanquery Gin seems to have lost the edge!!

The fact of your not raiding the Commodore's locker room seeking the triple-distilled vegemite and jockstrap gin is sincerely to be welcomed.
But what a dastardly turn of fortune! There is to be no cricket at Witney Scrotum 'for the foreseeable', the elastic band driving the heavy roller has snapped . . . and Prodger the poacher has disgrace himself at extra cover again.

Jolly bad luck, that, old chap. You know, that 'little problem' you have. I do hope it is resolved satisfactorily before Matron discovers what is up - or not up, as the case may be. I did warn you about mixing the voddy and the rose hips in the wrong proportions...
Speaking of Rose's hips, how is the new maid settling in? Remembering to turn down your bed every evening, one hopes? If she is any trouble, just send her back and I'll send you her cousin, buxom Betty - she has never disappointed a master yet.

Dear Mr Follicle.
Sorry, just got distracted by a line in the above comment...Jockstrap Gin...????. Thinking (not my usual approach) about it,
it could only be an improvement.
Anywho, we've been having lots of fun today, mostly without the benefit of electricity. Buggers at the generating hostel keep
getting out of the wheel for a rest. Most inconvenient.
A rather fetching photomograph today young sir. Very nicely painted, give the imps an extra frog.
Be careful in your Rose-hip vodka bath, don't go slipping on an olive, you'd do yourself a proper mischief.
Toodle pip, tally ho and that sort of thing.

'I think it's the sense of certainty and purpose.' Strange what we hang on to in these uncertain times. I spend a lot of time deciding which socks to wear - one of the big decisions of the day. I suppose one benefit of the lock down is that we can wear odd socks and no one knows.

The ability to get away with odd socks sounds rather appealing - or it would if it wasn't for my CDO (most important that the letters are in the right order regardless of sense.)
Rose Hip has already proved her worth and has secured a position. 🌹 💋
The rose hip gin is assuredly a great tonic and, after several tumblers of this liberating libation, I can say with complete confidence that you're all my best mates and I love you, notwithstanding that you're all out of focus and slurring your worms. Strange, as mine are perfectly emancipated. 🥴
The triple distilled Vegemite and Jockstrap Gin sounds magnificently repellant and is being actively considered for its anti-viral potential.
