San Biagio pano

By joolsb
Another shot from the archives, I'm afraid.

This one is from my Tuscany trip last year and shows the beautiful church of San Biagio, just outside Montepulciano. I've tried to place it in the context of the Tuscan landscape here...

Hope you like it!

One of those that has to be seen in the large version to appreciate it.
As you say, placing it in context is the key here.
Good stuff Julian

Works well in the panoramic format. Beautiful colours. Very atmospheric. Makes me glad I can see it big now.

I also love this church, although I've been here quite a few times I've never managed to catch such a good sky. Taken from the main road, I guess, which can be quite an acievement, knowing how busy it can be!!

Hi Steve,

Not quite from the main road... There's a little track that leads down to some houses and I parked the car at the start of the track and set up the tripod nearby. Smile

Lovely colouring - to really nail it needed light on the church ?
