I am the pitiless Sand Storm,
The whelp of a tameless breed--
My dam the desert, my sire the air;
I stealthily come from my shadowy lair,
And away, and away I speed!
by: Andrew Downing

Hope you like my interpretation of a camel in a sandstorm. It came out OK on my screen at home, however it does look a little dark on my work screen!

Thanks for your comments and votes on my Tarantula upload yesterday - some of the remarks were so funny!

Have a great day!

Clever stuff, Carol: no, it looks just light, not too dark, not too light.....just right I'd say.
A very effective and imaginative bit of processing and an excellent presentation as a result.

Great bit of processing - complements the camel's coat and colour perfectly, and gives a sand storm appearance. Great image.

Works better with it being a bit dark Carol than being too light I think.
When I was in holiday in Tunisia,an Arab offered me 10 camels for my wife.
After a bit of thought I said ''No'',and my wife asked what took me so long to give him my answer.
I said I was trying to figure out how I could get 10 camels back to Edinburgh !!
