Sandwood Bay, Scotland

By Stoic
Sandwood Bay is a beautiful solitary place in the northwest of Scotland. One of my favourite places. To get to it you have to walk 4 miles each way but it is well worth a visit on a dry day if you are in the area. I read somewhere that the Vikings landed there once. You can see Cape Wrath across the bay.

It's a wonderful place indeed. Well worth the hike.
