Sassy Santas

By PrunellaCara
For the life of me I can't remember how old these little santas are! Had them for donkeys years [whatever that means?] and can't bear to throw [or give] them away. Their cone shapes are wonky so it's difficult to photograph them in a straight line - but then - I do like a challenge!

In response to yesterdays comments about a Still Life category - yes , I think I asked on one of the forums some time ago and it looks like I'm not the only one. I don't know if anyone has had a reply or explanation as to why there isn't one? Maybe there aren't enough still life photographers here to warrant it??

Yes, a nightmare! Especially if they all have to be supplied with sack loads of presents and are going tramping about on your roof.

Seriously - I like your presentation of the little cone people.
A clever upload.

What a wonderful set, Eileen! perhaps 'a scintillation of Santas?' Wink The dark background you use is always so effective, and reflective too. Lovely!
All the best,

Wonky santas full of Christmas cheer. Wonky 'cause the Christmas cheer they are full of comes from a bottle.Wink

Looks like they are skating in line in Vs 1, 2 and 3. We too have artefacts from Christmases away back, and in particular I have Santa that about 68 years old. He needed a bit of repaint a few years back, but still remains in fine form otherwise.

A sack of Santas? Grin Well, they do carry them... Wink Great collection of them here, Eileen, though they do look like they've all had a bit too much Christmas alcoholic spirit! Tongue

Santanas. Probably from Spain Eileen. Came over in the first crackers, during the Boxing Day revolt of '92. Very rare, most went puff after the the first pull.
