Saucy Anticipation

By ChiliMan
Oh boy...

...I cannot believe the reception the last pic got. I'd taken several shots of those ice crystals - in Portrait and Landscape, in Colour and Sepia, etc. - and loved that I'd managed to capture them as I'd seen them.

I'd processed (cloning out some dirt) that one for uploading last year and never did get round to uploading it.

ANYWAY, I feel a ramble coming on so I'll cut it short: THANKS FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL COMMENTS, YOU ALL.

I did NOT expect this...sheesh Smile

Back to my A430 dig-up, here's one I took last November once I was back from my trip.

I was in a supermarket here. Amazingly enough, there was enough light on these onions for the camera to not indicate camera shake. It was on Auto ISO, so that must've helped too.

There is no way this little still life is gonna get the attention the ice crystals hey...I'm on an archival dig and that's all that matters now.

I'm gonna look on the last pic's reception as an utterly delightful bonus Smile))

Will catch up on your pfs and pics over these next couple of days, alright?

A photographer's spot - to see that lovely light, colour and texture. I can almost feel the scrunchiness of the skins Smile Another one with commercial possibilities?

It's such a good shot that it brought tears to my eyes, lol. Sorry Andrew, but I couldn't resist the joke.

I was wondering what your next unusual shot would be, but never for one moment did I think of onions.
This is quite something Andrew, there is wonderful colours & detail there.
I will never be able to look at onions in the shops the same way again.
Going to be without electricity again today, so having to do this quickly before the workmen arrive.
Take care boyoWink
