When I want to include folk in my landscapes and after finding the scene in question, I lie in wait behind bushes and when I see suitable candidates appear, I pop out and pretend to be composing my shot, moving around a bit: but the minute they reach the desired spot in the frame, I press the shutter and then lower the camera as if waiting for them to pass by. As they reach me, I raise the camera again as if now taking the shot, allowing them to think I was waiting for them to pass.
So far it has worked without questions being asked.
This was the method used here.
My thanks to all who commented on Overhang........as ever, so much appreciated.
