Overall I like this - it's somewhere I would love to visit.
The moving water has come out really well - just soft enough, but not too misty.
The foreground is interesting with the leaves, but it looks a little over-sharpened/ contrasty - it's bloomin' hard to capture water in strong sunlight, I agree.
Compositionally, I feel there is a little "dead space" in the middle of the image, where the water is dark and still. Perhaps the stillness is an effect of the long exposure.

There are 2 beautiful shots in this image. The top left and the bottom right. Both are excellent, just needs cropping appropriately

I love how you captured the shot..the shade and lighting are lovely and you captured the autumn color with the leaves and moss on the rocks... love it in other words
Works for me. It's the diagonal shadows falling across the waterfall that catch my eye.

No doesn't look dreadful at all but you're right this is not an easy place to capture at all. Was there yesterday afternoon and still had contrasty light to deal with.

Haven't been able to comment for the last 4 hours (apologies) as my keyboard stopped working. I knew it was wireless and not connected to the monitor but I didn't realise it wasn't connected to electricity either..... anyway I discovered the batteries but had to wait to recharge some before I could make it work again

the sunlight makes for a really beautiful shot actually...it stands out from the crowd..
its not easy to get a different shot here is it....especialy with all the togs about..i had to elbow my way to a decent spot myself! (being polite though of course..lol)

At the time of shooting I was cursing that light as it was shining in all the wrong places, but as it's turned out that light has made a difference to the images and stopped them looking flat as it's normally the case with Scalaber.
