Scania

By Focus_Man
Just a run of the mill picture, in Birkenhead docks, of the front end of an artic. waiting to board the Irish Ferry. I was just trying out my new Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 lens.

Hi Frank, - does the mod look any better to you? And did you use Topaz (I have to ask!) as theres some slight evidence of work done by the mirror of the front truck, and the upper corner of the one behind.

Rarely see Scanias here, mainly Mack, Peterbilt, and Kenworth. which are much larger. Artic is not used either, - theyre called tractor/trailers, and this part is called the tractor. Mighty beasts.

Nice record but possibly a touch contrasty? Just seems a bit over bright but not over exposed.

Paul right, a little too bright. Looks like over contrast or sharpen.

Yes Willie just playing around and added one of the Topaz filter effects.

Early afternoon, very low bright sun with a dark cloudy sky. (lightened with Topaz)

I used to drive arctics for a living before doing the knowledge of London to be a cab driver. So i can see the attraction here. But i think there,s to much going on in the right side of the scene, and maybe a bit bright? Apart from that its nice to see a scany or two in all there glory. All the best Steve.
