Scarborough Spa Express.

By PeterLaw
On Thursday last week, Christine treated me to a trip on theScarborough Spa Express. At first I thought ir was going to be dieseled hauled as Leander had failed its fitness to run exam, we were told/ Imagine our Suprise when Scots Gaurdsman pulled in to the Station.
Well done West Coast Railways, who organised at the last minute forit to come down from Carnforth and joined the train at Clifton Junction.
So it turned out to be a great day for me, as the last time I saw Scots Gaurdsman was at Dinting in black livery and have wanted to see it running again.
Will catch up on voting tommorrow, running out of time tonight.

great set again Peter, you could actually crop V1 to knock out the rail line bottom left IMO it would enhance the picture

Nice set ,like the first one
The Scot had just arrived in York from Carnforth when the Leander failed, the Scot hasn't had a good record this year its failed lots of times
We are booked on the York ,Settle ,Carlise this Sunday it could be either of the locos pulling us if they both fail, it will be a Diesel (shucks)

Nice shots, I did the trip on wednesday behind Leander, and they discovered steam leaks in the boiler tubes that night. It is a super trip covering over 200 miles behind steam.
