Scarborough Spa Express

By TonyFrith
Taken less than a hour ago the Duchess of Sutherland No 6233 at fast speed heading back to York from Scarborough
Yesterday (Tuesday) this engine had a collision with a bridge at Harrogate they now change the engine at York to a diesel class 47 built in the 1960s they do hope to have a steam doing the full run. Last week the A4 Pacific class No60009 Union of South Africa went on the full run with no problem , will try to get a snap of it next week

Sorry Tony - I'm running late again! I've spent half today getting ready to play in a gig tonight only to learn that it's actually tomorrow........Yet this was posted 2 days ago!

This has superb colour and very detailed definition. The smoke is rising in such a plane that it obscures whether there is any sky or not (crafty!) And Large + F11 is great!
