A scary sight seen at the Edinburgh Fringe last month: I have used SCR (selective colour retention) to allow the subject to show up more effectively against the background.

My thanks to all who commented on Spotty and with special thanks to Pam (ladynewbury) for her GEA and all those who offered a UA.

A great character Ronnie - I've never seen one like that before and I'm impressed with your use of selective colour.

It's a good job there are lots of people about - she could give an unsuspecting soul a bit of a shock ........... maybe not though, she seems rather friendly!!SmileSmile
Excellent use of SCR - very effective, Ronnie.

That's super scary! Like your presentation and selective colouring, Ronnie 👍
See you now have the Nikon Z6 - I've just ordered one from Jessops whilst over in Leeds today lunching with friends. It's all the fault of a fellow holidaymaker whilst in Italy, who had one! 😁

Very good use of selective colour, Ronnie. The few times I have used it have been in crowded street scenes. Desaturating as well as mono sometimes works as well.

this is surely a frightening sight, even more so in plain daylight in a busy town.
Is it a leprechaun? In that case you have very successfully put him in the other world!!
