Scots Pines

By sescott
A stand of Scots Pine near the town of Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders. The hill in the distance is Lee Pen. I took this in the Spring but recently converted it to B&W using the chanel mixer. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Really beautiful black and white. Clear photo with good contrast and phantastic dof. The best is the composition. Great work!!

Simple and very effective B & W. Personally I would like to see some good old Tri-X grain - but that's just showing my age!!

A superb B'n'W landscape.
Makes it stand out from the crowd (the mono treatment).

Well done
