Scott's View

By KingBee
Thanks to all who voted and commented on "Pont du Gard".

Today we're back in more familiar territory for this semi-panoramic representation of Scott's View, a famous viewpoint near Earlston in the Scottish Borders, so named because it is said to have been one of Sir Walter Scott's favourite stopping places en route to and from his home at Abbotsford, near Galashiels.

What a lovely bit of countryside. Somewhere to get lost and put the world to rights. Smile
(OK, dreaming again).

A lovely pov to capture this wonderful country scene.
I was there in 1997. Good to know nothing's changed.
