Yes this works better love hdr when done well this is the subject is perfect

This looks like its a HDR image from Photomatrix,with not quite enough light smoothing creating a few halos (try moving the slider to +1 or +2). Its quite a strong composition.

Nope, it's Dynamic Photo HDR... I tried Photomatrix but didnt like it much... I'll try the light smoothing... Thanks for the advice Warney, and thankyou sawdust...x.
