Sea Level Rise #3

By handlerstudio
So, in the course of our travels....not all was about sea level rise. Some about documenting what we are possibly about to lose...and I will show lots of that later in this series. Same day as our sailing trip in the morning was (and this was important to us as Philadelphians) Super Bowl Sunday---an undeclared national holiday of sorts for a large part of this country.....and for Tom and Susan and I, well our Philadelphia Eagles were playing the despised New England Patriots (our guys, of course, won). We were to later watch the game with some old clients of mine in Miami Beach. On the way, we stopped at the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens--a small and densely planted gem right in the middle of the island, next door to the Holocaust Memorial---more of that later.

The lead photo----I wonder if anyone knows what this is. The second version will reveal the answer. And other wonderful plants and images. One of my pleasures as a photographer is sometimes to show "rectangles" that non-photographers may not notice as exceptional. I think it is one of our blessings as photographers.

Hi Peter. I've got a similar shot which I took of a tree in the park in San Josť, Costa Rica. I was amazed. I'd send you my shot if I knew how to do it.
