Sea on Fire?

By alistairfarrugia
A simple quay primarily used for tourists to disembark from boats used to tour the environment around Blue Grotto, and the caves in the surrounding area. The lighting makes the sea look like fire, in my opinion, which brings me to the idea behind the title.

This shot was edited to remove some metal structures from the cliff-face and retain less elements for a simpler and more abstract composition. Critique more than welcome.

Shot taken @ 18mm, f/10, 20" (ISO 400) with a Canon EOS 600D plus EF-S 18-55 lens, mounted on a tripod.

An image crafted with the 'Midas' touch Alistair. The golden hues instantly add warmth and wonderment to this well seen and crafted composition, however I do feel that the metal structures in the previous uploads added both interest and a chunk of curiosity

Thanks Nathan, I will try it out again with the metal bars and upload it as a variant. Thanks for the critique Smile
