Sea Worn

By sherlob
The fence that provides a useful handrail down to a tidal pool in Hermanus slowly takes on the characteristics of driftwood. The coastline in this part of South Africa is beautiful, but I imagine in a storm it becomes a wild and deadly place.

On this particular morning it was overcast and cold yet even before the sunrise three ladies were swimming in the tidal pool and throughout my visit I was accompanied by a collie keeping guard of his owner whilst she swam.

Have a great Tuesday... right to work!

It certainly doesn't look very inviting. Those rocks - slippery when wet, slippery when not wet!

Nice mono image. I wouldn't be tempted to go bathing there though SmileSmileWink
