Seaside Special

By cameracat
Hi folks...Smile

Here is a little something from a pre-dawn outing yesterday ( Thursday 23th ).

LOL...Yup! All this and the sunrise had yet to happen when I took this shot....!!!

Here is the recipe, First get up at stupid o'clock 3am, Then prepare flasks of coffee, Pack blueberry muffins & apple cakes, Oh! And some lemon and vanilla muffins too, Not forgetting a couple of cans of " Red Bull " for later that day.

Next pile the above into your motor ( In our case an open top +2, 1930s replicar ) ...MMMmmm Did I mention camera kit..? Well for sure don't forget to pack your chosen photo kit, Like us probably double check that we have not forgotten sumfin vital.....Grin

This sunrise hunting lark, Can be a very hit & miss affair, If you forget a tiny weeny little component ( Like memory cards OR filters ....Sad )

At this point I am assuming that you have checked the " Tide Timetable " for the location your heading to....??? Checked the weather too, Although I gotta say we tend to ignore the weather predictions, But the tide table is very very important, Especially if you want tons of nice wet sand to reflect all that sunny goodness, The fact that the sunrise and the tide where going to be absolutely perfect, Was our main reason for heading Cromer way.

Well if all the preparations are good, Then lady luck is on your side, This is what you will be greeted with when you arrive, We where a tad behind schedule to to me being just a little to cool on the throttle pedal, So to say it was every man/woman/cat/dog for himself, Is an understatement.

Shooting tips, Just get there and keep firing til the light goes......Smile

Stay lucky and have a great weekend all.

Thanks for bearing with, Vince

Sounds familiar, try the other end of the day and this is what you get... Trouble is as its dark when you leave, some thing always gets left behind, sunglasses, shutter remote etc. a stunning image Vince and well worth the early start and lengthy prep. A first class image!

Hi Vince, love the sunrise, and composition of this shot. The colours are fantastic, and goes to show what special light you get for rising early morning. You have a fine selection of this series at this location. Must be a big avantage living near the coast to get such great shots. Well done James Wink
