Not all of us have binary political definitions. Personally, I am way to the left of the Democratic Party, but in Philadelphia, a one-party city, if you want your vote to count (that is, the primary), you need to be a registered Democrat.

I think around the world, people think we are defined by our unfortunate president, an embarrassment (at best) to so many of us.

Nice to find a few Yanks on this very British site. We have so much in common right now. Both peoples and nations are struggling with serious political issues as never seen before. Do hope it all turns out for the better. Thank you for your comments.
