Self Portrait

By Superwide
Turned the camera on me for a change. Yesterday's light through the window was extremely muted, and rather liked the soft lines/light and shade is created.

Edit: On a side note, the original is tack sharp. How goes one upload without huge compression?

Hello Arne.

Was an interesting process as I just couldn't frame the shot. It was only when I came up with this final position that it worked. I'm sure there's some psychological trickery pokery going on, bit I like the end result.

Welcome... like your use of negative space...

I'm no expert, but think epz's algorithm responds to whatever the size of the file, so there is no way of controlling it..

You can always use the 'contact support' link at the bottom... have always found the tech guys very responsive 😁
Great, thanks Cats. Smile

The two most important things regarding uploading are to use sRGB colour space - which I see this is, so OK there, and, always upload the largest file you have - do not resize - I see this is 1425 on the longest size, but the full-size non-resized file would have been better. The site logarithms take care of the rest, depending on the device being used to view on.
Thanks for the advice. It was quite a heft crop. I'll consider your suggestions in future.
