Hi folks,

Many thanks for C&V, I don't often see photos of Kingfishers face on, so just to be a bit different here is one, I guess it doesn't show the bird off in all its splendour but there are plenty of those to be found, you never know I may post one next. All my Kingfisher images are from the river that runs through our town.

I don't think I've ever seen a kingfisher full-frontal, so to speak. Quite grumpy-looking.

A very plump contented looking bird. Just dined? What you say about a kingfisher is true as I do not remember seeing one as depicted here, head-on.
