There are a number of things here:

First the building is on a slant which with the converging verticals looks odd. Normally converging verticals should be avoided or minimised but can help emphasise perspective as here.

Second you have cropped the building both ends which again with the slant makes things look wrong.

On the good side you have got good detail in the brickwork and windows, tried to frame things with the tree which has also added interest with shadows and picked a nice bright day.

Further to Focus Mans comments. The windows were not burnt out..they were boarded up in white. Also his mod I feel makes the brickwork over done and also the right side of the building is now missing.

This is leaning over a little bit but I rather think that the converging verticals give it some perspective.
The composition would be better if you'd got the whole of the RHS of the building in the shot but, looking at the trees, that may not have been possible.
I agree with Ian, that there's some detail to be found in the brickwork and the windows.
For a "walking the dog" shot (I've got loads of those!), I think it''s pretty good.
I'll try a mod.

I've uploaded a mod. in which I've straightened it, using Picasa, then adjusted levels, blacks only and very slightly and sharpened it a little, using CS5.
I de-noised it too, using Noiseware community edition.

Hope it's OK.

I'm not bothered about the converging verticals, looking up, that is natural and I do think the corrected version goes too far the other way looking squat and not entirely natural.

You have over exposed though. It needs darkening quite a bit, and the window frames are rather lost against the boards - close to burnt out. Darken it and you have a decent record of this building.

Whilst I would not be as bothered about the perspective (because it is what it is), I do feel the brickwork needs some depth and clarity.

I selected just the building and then did some work on the levels and tweaks with the colours until it was approaching something I was a little happier with myself.

Please see the attached mod.
