'Sextant In Hand'

By DMW
One of the two female statues on The Mall side of Admiralty Arch, London, this one is called 'Navigation'.
In her hands is a maritime navigation aid called a Sextant used for finding a position at sea, by way of the sun.
Her facial expression is probably in response to current on-going on road roadworks in the middle of the road.
From her elevated position, on her side of the road, she can see how much work is, is not being done.
Her female partner statue 'Commerce' covers the other side of The Mall, Admiralty Arch, from her side.
