Sgorr Tuath Dawn

By jamesgrant
Sometimes getting out of bed a little earlier rewards you well with a pre-sunrise glow to any clouds in the sky, just like this day...Below the summit of Sgorr Tuath in the Coigach region I was stood with amazing view over to Assynt. The mountains of Cul Beag, Cul Mor and Suilven loomed awaiting the first light of day...An amazing experience.

Your early start to the day certainly paid off when you managed to capture the sunrise from this high vantage point.
Very good detail in the shadowed areas too.
