I'm going with the mono. It eliminates the grass which tends to distract. Even though I do like the rust and the grittiness. Good for you spotting this and cropping well.

Well spotted and the mono version for me. It hides the grass and also shows the shadows better.

A stack of RR tracks
seeing them in an unusual place---retraining the eye---and now wondering what the plain shapes are for---

Love the rusty colors, and the mono version as well!

Lovely images Tom with a very appealing abstract quality. Both are glorious but it's the mono that draws me back perhaps for the way it removes other distractions and for the way it captures texture and form. 🙂 🏆
