Shadow

By Anthony
Hi

Shot on Sunday with the NW Meeting Crew. As arranged by Ian, Digicammad.

This was shot RAW, converted using Phase 1 and Photoshop CS2.

I used the Vurtual Photographer plug in in PS, used the Spooky setting as it gave this lovely effect. Increased the shadow detail a bit, dodged the bottom left corner to increase the detail, applied a very shallow S curve, resized, and posted.

Shot at about f8 for 1/60th sec, no filters used on the camera.

Comments are welcome, as are modifications if you want a go.

Kind regards

Anthony

If you like this, check out Bob Carlos Clarke, he takes this sort of very Gothic scene, and I love it.
This is a really great shot and I particularly like the shadow.

Works well Anthony, good idea to tone it like this. I would perhaps have cropped it just to the left of that front stone, but leaving it in gives context to the other shadow.

Great composition. Super toning and that shadow of the cross just sets it off.

I Have not got a clue what you did in PS but it works, that said you still have to get the image which you have done in a superbly.
