We are standing under green trees, very different to what is opposite us. Two sides that are poles apart...

without doubt, the best answer from the authorities to popular anger is silence

The people themselves are killing off the high street, by doing on-line shopping, sooner see what I'm buying.

excellent images, the B&W version is more impacting i guess.

This is sad - just about sums up the political situation in UK right now. I notice that the NI Constituency office is in good repair - that says a lot. Brilliant contrast - each image has its own merits - like them both GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Very pertinant image Jeff , the mono does the trick for appropriate effect

Unfortunately a typical High Street scene which could be from most places now.

Same here, Jeff, many empty shops about 😬 Have to go for the colour, it emphasises the empty building's 'grottiness'' than in mono 👍

Our High Street is full of charity and coffee shops Jeff. Crap to say the least.

I like both images very much but am going for the colour. I think it's because of the contrast between the blue sky and the thoughtfully composed portrayal of decline and decay.
