Mono is more mysterious, whereas the colour version is all about the patina.
I do find the top of the frame a tad distracting and would crop it out...

The colour and patina on your version is beautiful. I think because of your angle, the top line draws away from the subject a little but I do like the detail shown. Maybe a slight rotate anti clockwise?

The mono takes that away and all shadows and light!

Even in mono, it's instantly recognisable as a Hepworth 😃 I'm rather favouring colour for the patterning. I agree about the bit at the top, and would either crop it off or with the transform tool, level the top edge, but leave the left as is. Still a great capture with dappled light on it 👍🏻👍🏻
